LA Olympics 2020 Concept: Branding one of the World's Biggest Events

This project called for the foundations of an Olympic identity, featuring a brand book, logo, icons, and rudimentary rules for type.

The logo was developed as a throwback to the LA Olympic Games of 84', but with a more contemporary angular wordmark.

meant to emulate Mexico City's 68' Olympic identity + (strong notes of Gareth Hague's London Olympics typeface).
